Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and unexpected situations arise. However, to ensure we can continue providing appointments to all patients, we operate a strict cancellation policy.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments that are not attended, will incur a charge equal to 50% of the appointment fee for the first occurrence only. Any subsequent late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged at the full appointment fee each time.
As our clinic is often fully booked, late cancellations and missed appointments prevent us from offering those appointments to other patients who may be waiting for treatment or are in pain. If repeated late cancellations or missed appointments occur, Align Healthcare Clinic reserves the right to decline future appointment bookings.

Who keeps your data?
Your personal information is securely stored by Align Healthcare Clinic Ltd using our secure practice management system, Cliniko.
Access to your information is limited to authorised members of our team, including our practitioners, reception staff and Practice Manager, where it is necessary for them to carry out their role. All team members receive training on confidentiality, data protection and our internal procedures to ensure your information remains secure.
Can I access or update my information?
Yes. You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.

In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to request that your personal information is deleted. However, as a healthcare provider, we may be legally required to retain certain records for a specified period.

Why do we collect your personal information?
We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with safe, effective healthcare and to manage your appointments.

contact you regarding appointments, reminders or changes to your booking;
maintain accurate clinical records;
communicate with your GP, consultant, hospital or medical insurer where appropriate and with your consent, or where otherwise permitted by law; and
provide you with the highest standard of care.
We will never sell your personal information or share it for marketing purposes.
How do we protect your information?
Protecting your information is extremely important to us. We have several measures in place to help keep your data secure, including:
All patient information is stored securely within Cliniko.
All clinic computers are password protected.
Our computers are protected by anti-virus and anti-malware software.
Every member of staff has their own secure login, with access limited to the information required for their role.
We do not store your card details. Card payments are processed securely through our Barclays card payment system. Telephone payments are entered directly into the card terminal and are never written down or stored by the clinic.
Medical records are stored securely within Cliniko and are only accessible to authorised healthcare professionals and authorised staff where appropriate.
Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Align Healthcare Clinic Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and renews its registration annually.
Independent Practitioners
Please note that all practitioners working at Align Healthcare Clinic are self-employed independent practitioners. Where appropriate, they will have access to your personal information solely for the purpose of providing your healthcare and meeting their professional and legal obligations.
Gift Vouchers
Terms and conditions
Vouchers are non-refundable unless required by law.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or special offers unless otherwise stated.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers cannot be accepted past this date.
We operate on a 24 hours cancellation policy for rescheduling or cancelling appointments. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee.
Vouchers can be used for all treatments and products provided at the clinic.
Voucher holders are responsible for safeguarding their voucher codes and details - lost vouchers are the responsibility of the holder and cannot be redeemed without the voucher.
