Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change, and things happen. However, to ensure the integrity of the business we unfortunately need to ensure we abide by a strict cancellation policy. This is also to ensure that we are able to see patients who are in desperate need of treatment as we are very busy.

Any missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result with a £25 charge being added to your account. If you miss two or more appointments, then the full charge of the appointment will be added to your account each time. If consistent missed appointments keep occurring, the clinic has the right to refuse any future appointments to ensure we are able to see patients who are in need.

Our Privacy Policy

How your data is used at the clinic.

Who is going to keep your data? Align Healthcare Clinic LTD, that’s all.
Your data and all personal information is stored securely on our data base and ran through an official booking system called Cliniko. The only persons who have access to this information is the Practice Manager and Practitioners, who have all undergone strict training following precise SOPs to ensure they are continually ensuring your data is secure.

Can I see or modify my data?

Of course! You can contact us and change, alter or remove any data previously given to us at any time. You can do this by calling us on 0151 203 2884 or by emailing us on reception@alignhealthcareclinic.co.uk. Again, only trained professionals registered with Align Healthcare Clinic have access to this. If you are unhappy with our process despite our best efforts, you can of course contact and raise a claim with the ICO.

Why do we collect your personal data?

If you’re wondering what happens with your personal data and why we ask for certain information, then lets make it clear. Firstly, it allows us to adhere to our patient confidentiality guidelines, as we understand there may be patients with the exact same name as yours, so gathering your date of birth, phone number or email allows us to distinguish between patients with the same first and second name. Also, it allows us to contact you if there are any problems with your appointment, and allows us to remind patients of their upcoming appointments. We never give out any patient information to any company, person or business at any time. Once your data is given to us, it stays with us, for the sole reason of enhancing your experience so we can offer the best care to you.

Clinic Implementations

At the clinic, we have multiple ways of ensuring that your data is protected. We only ever store information on our secure database called Cliniko. All computers are password protected. All computers are protected by anti-virus malware programmes. Each practitioner, practice manager or receptionist has their own log in details for Cliniko and can only access information what is relevant to their role. Card details are never stored or taken at the clinic, our card payments are taken only through our card machine registered with Barclays bank. To take payments in advanced, we are able to process this over the phone with our trained receptionist who can type card details directly into the card machine. Again, no information is ever stored or written down.

All medical information given to us will be stored on Cliniko. And this can only be accessed by trained professionals at the clinic. This is never written down on paper or stored anywhere else apart from on Cliniko.

We are registered with the ICO and renew our subscription annually.
