What is Osteopathy & Physiotherapy?

Osteopathy and Physiotherapy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing musculoskeletal problems by manipulating, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints. They are required by law to be registered with the appropriate governing body (General Osteopathic Council or the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and to hold a degree in either Osteopathy or Physiotherapy, which takes 4 or 5 years to complete.

Does it help?

According to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (also knows as N.I.C.E), manual therapy, such as Osteopathy and Physiotherapy, is recommended alongside exercise as a treatment option for a range of joint and muscle based complaints.
